How to Put Grommets or Eyelets into a Tarp

CAMPING GEAR
If your tarp could use an extra tie down or peg point, instead of piercing straight through the material and making a big messy hole, let our teammate Ben show you how easy it is to do properly in this video.

You can use this technique on solid groundsheets, canvas fabric or even mesh to ensure that your extra holes don’t fray and spread. This makes it super easy to preserve the life of your tarp or groundsheet.

All you need is a multi-tool, hammer, eyelets/grommets and washers, and an eyelet tool and you’ll be all set to customise your tarp.
