I love this video. It’s not exactly a how-to, but more of a what-to, as in “what to do when it rains,” and yes you can do it yourself, in your backyard, as we did. We made a little tent from tarps and camping blankets, and cooked sausage and watched the rain fall. You could also sit inside like a hobbit if you wanted (or better yet sleep in it!) , because that’s the beauty of a tarp shelter; it opens up all possibilities. If you find yourself with the time and resources to make a tarp tent I highly encourage it!
